Sachin Tendulkar edging towards a historic milestone

Sachin Tendulkar 67*

Sachin Tendulkar is edging towards a historic milestone as the runs continued to rack up on the third day of the third Test between India
and the West Indies in Mumbai.

After West Indies were eventually dismissed for 590 this morning, the hosts reached tea on 172 for two on a batsman-friendly track, with Tendulkar 20 not out and in with a real possibility of becoming the first man to record 100 international centuries.

Rahul Dravid passed 13,000 Test runs - only the second player to achieve the feat after Tendulkar - as he reached the interval unbeaten on 52, his 62nd Test fifty coming from 99 balls with six fours.
